This page exists to help Merit Badge Counselors preserve their institutional knowledge over time and to help new Counselors find tips, tricks, and resources that go beyond the Merit Badge book.
How it works:
This channel is host to different posts about specific Merit Badges. Search it to see if your badge exists as a post. The title should always be the name of the badge.
If your badge is not listed, you can create a post for your badge and share it with other Merit Badge Counselors.
Step one: Log into your IHUB account.
Step two: go to https://build.ihub.app/ and fill in the following info.
the URL is "neic" then fill in your email and password to log into IHUB.
Step three: choose "Create" and then "post" and then on the new screen in the upper right hand corner click "add post".
Step 4: You are now in the post-builder tool.
Click on the dropdown for "Select Channel" and pick "Merit Badge Councilor Resources."
Click on Card Style and click "Title Card."
Under Title put the name of the Merit Badge you are posting about.
In the body of the page, type in whatever info you would like to have on record about the Merit Badge.
Step 5: Scroll down to post options and click on "publish date" type in today's date and time.
Step 6: Hit Save as Draft or Publish. If you have trouble, Go to neic.org/communicationform and submit a ticket to the communications director who can help you to post.
